Job Description: 

JPI has an opening for a Program Management Consultant to support TSA’s Checkpoint Solutions Integration Division, including support for client-facing activities at the Agency’s headquarters. Five years of consulting and project management experience required, including three years of relevant experience supporting federal government customer organizations. 

Responsibilities:

Program Management (90%) 

  • Advising clients on efforts to improve cost, schedule, performance, and risk management approaches across the organization 
  • Supporting client efforts to develop strategic plans and budget requirements related to TSA Checkpoint technologies
  • Developing briefings and reports in Microsoft PPT
  • Gathering inputs and developing weekly and other ad-hoc reports on key initiatives
  • Identifying and tracking risks and issues associated with key projects
  • Analyzing data and comparing against established metrics to identify trends and variances 
  • Analyzing data sets in Excel utilizing standard Excel tools, formulas, and providing recommendations and developing summary reports

Account Management (10%) 

Support account planning and execution to include business develop and proposal activities

  • Participate in recruiting and hiring tasks (developing position descriptions, interviewing, and mentoring new hires) 
  • Support client meetings, industry days, and discussions on JPI capabilities and experience 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Five years Enterprise Program manager as well as relevant experience in direct support of a federal government department or agency 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, communications, or a related field
  • Experience supporting large, complex programs and supporting program management offices
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with program managers and clients
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies (processes, best practices, tools)
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio
  • Clearance: Clearable to Public Trust or above 


Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification desired 
  • Acquisition management background (AD-102)
  • DHS / TSA Experience
