Maria Adams

Maria is a Project Manager with more than 25 years of experience in various aspects of software implementations and consulting. She specializes in blending the business and user requirements of an engagement with effective software and process solutions. For the past three years, Maria has worked with various federal agenices to choose, customize, and implement collaborative project management tools including tasks, risks, events, and documents. Maria holds a secret security clearance and she earned a B.A. in education and foreign language from Antioch College.

Mike Allred

Mike is a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Lotus Notes/Domino systems administration and systems maintenance. He has over 7 years of experience in Lotus Notes/Domino development and he is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional in Systems Administration and Application Development. As a Principal of JPI since 2004, Mike is an expert in managing complex application infrastructures and in systems integration using IBM tools.

Julie Chi

Julie is a Project Manager with nine years of experience and a proven track record of managing strategic relationships and supervising technical project implementation. Julie's areas of expertise include capturing client requirements, developing detailed project plans to effectively manage software implementation, and developing best practices. She has a M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.

He is a Principally Certified Lotus Professional and holds a Secret Clearance.

Doug Garnett-Deakin

As JPI’s cofounder and President, Doug has over 15 years of experience in object oriented user interfaces, Lotus Notes/Domino application development and system integration. As a Certified Lotus Principal in Lotus Notes/Domino Application Development, he is the original designer of the award winning GSA Project Information Portal (PIP). Doug specializes in designing and building collaborative workspaces for federal government clients. He was the primary architect for the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) tasker tracking system and knowledge portal.

David Heymsfeld

JPI’s Vice President, David Heymsfeld, is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional and is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds an MBA from the R.H. Smith School U-MD with a concentration in Information Technology. With over 16 years of experience in project management and programming, David is our strategic planner, client interface, and project coordinator. His recent experience includes providing project management support to the Management Directorate of DHS.

Gerald Howell

Gerald is a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience in Lotus Notes/Domino systems administration and maintenance. He is a R5 Principal Certified Lotus Professional and an IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer. Gerald developed the initial charting servlets for the Construction Measures section of PIP.

Dave Kinsley

Dave is JPI's Technical Services Manager with over 14 years of experience as a Systems/Network administrator and IT manager. With expertise in Windows Server 2003/2000/XP/NT 4.0/9x, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2003, VMWare, Symantec Backup Exec, Cisco ASDM, VBscript, and Lotus Notes, Dave ensures that each of our employees has the necessary technology and software to support all our client needs.

Monika Lawless

Monika is JPI's Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Blacksburg HQ office as well as HR for the company. With 12 years of management and federal contract experience, Monika is well equipped to assist with proposal writing, contract negotiations, corporate marketing, and customer interface requirements. Monika also directly manages all our help desk operations.

Christine McCann

Christine is JPI’s Administrative Assistant with nearly 20 years of experience in office management, customer relations and event planning.  Her endeavors have included the Administrative Assistant position at the national labor union for stage directors and choreographers, and Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of the federal credit union for the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.  Her efficiency and attention to detail have earned her a reputation for effective coordination and excellent customer service.

Daniela Rojas

Daniela is a Technical Analyst with over five years of client service experience. Daniela specializes in Microsoft Excel and has extensive expertise in managing databases, producing reports and document productions. Daniela’s attention to detail, effective communication skills, and innovative problem solving skills enhance JPI’s software testing and documentation processes. Daniela holds a B.S. in Human Development with a concentration in Human Services and a double major in Spanish from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Dawn Sangree

As a Senior Software Engineer, Dawn, is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional in Application Development and is a Certified Lotus Professional in Systems Administration. Dawn has been a JPI Principal since 2004 and has 10 years of experience in web development, Lotus Notes/Domino development, systems administration and systems maintenance. She is an expert in working with AJAX, DHTML and building powerful, servlet driven applications.

Leslie Sullivan

Senior Project Manager Kevin Thompson has over 20 years of management and acquisition experience with Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software implementations. Kevin has extensive experience in project management planning, issue tracking, risk mitigation, document control, meeting management, client interface, and reporting. Kevin is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and has earned a B.S. in engineering and an M.S. in Personnel Management.
