Performance Management Analyst

JPI has an immediate opening for a Workforce and Performance Management Analyst with 4+ years’ management consulting experience and 2+ years of data analytics experience. This position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the development and application of performance metrics and workforce analytics, to include development and maintenance of Tableau Dashboards and recommendations in the support of the Federal client mission.

 


Responsibilities


Performance Management and Workforce Analytics (85%)
• Work with Federal clients to identify:
     o Major client processes and associated outputs
     o Existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and work breakdown structures
     o Delays in production and challenges
     o Workforce planning data sources
     o Future work initiatives and anticipated work surges
• Develop a detailed understanding of major client activities: process steps, timing, staffing requirements to produce outcomes / outputs, and identification of backlogs / delays
• Write SQL queries to retrieve data from a large, homegrown database
• Develop Tableau dashboards to connect data queries with existing data and processes
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to clean and manage large data sets
• Develop briefing materials to present results to Federal client leadership
• Develop and maintain project artifacts including agendas, minutes, project plans, and correspondence
• Facilitate client meetings, as needed
• Track all action items, client requirements, deliverables, and project plans throughout the project lifecycle


Project Management (10%) 
• Contributes to production of contractual deliverables 
• Maintains strong relationships with the federal program manager and team members 

Account Management (5%) 
• Support account planning and execution to include business development and proposal activities
• Support client meetings and discussions on JPI capabilities and experience 
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in management consulting preferred
• Knowledge of Federal programs; DHS and/or immigration-related programs preferred
• Ability to review, synthesize, and prepare highly technical, sensitive, and complex documents, briefing materials, management directives and correspondence
• Ability to conduct comprehensive data analysis
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience and expert knowledge of Tableau, Python, and Microsoft Office required
• Proficiency with SQL and SharePoint strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
